FAQ
Q. Are there any restrictions on who can apply?
A. Participants must be of the Islamic faith, reside in Australia or New Zealand and be 18 years or older.
Q. What will the $300 ticket price cover?
A. The cost of the ticket covers all educational and interactive sessions over the three day workshop. All meals are included.
Participants will need to pay for their own flights and accommodation (if applicable).
Q. Is there a local hotel I can book?
A. Yes. A discount code for both Rydges Bankstown Hotel and Mecure Sydney Bankstown Hotel will be released to successful candidates. All accommodation must be booked independently. If these hotels aren‘t a suitable option, you are free to choose an alternative location.
Rydges is a 10 minute drive from the venue, and Mecure is a 15 minute drive. Free parking is available at Rydges for those hiring a vehicle.
Q. Does the workshop include food & drinks?
A. All meals & drinks are included.
Dinners will be held on Fri 23 and Sat 24 August at a local restaurant. The cost of these dinners will be covered.
Q. Do I need to attend the whole event?
A. Participants must attend all of the workshop for the full three days. No exceptions unless for emergencies or medical reasons.
Q. What is the venue address?
A. The address of the venue is located in Regents Park, NSW. The venue address will be released to all successful candidates.
Q. Can you tell me more about the application process?
A. Applications close by Fri 19th July, 2024, 11.59pm.
Applications will be independently reviewed by a panel. The panel’s decision is final. All applicants will be informed on their success by Fri 26th July, 2024, before 11.59pm via email.
Q. I am having trouble uploading my documents in the application process. Is help available?
A. Yes, email any technical issues through to info@visionofummah.com offering a full explanation of the problem and include screenshots if possible.
